Karsonator and Sonido SWR 096

Gentlemen,

I own Sonido SWR 096 AlNiCo speakers. I'm thinking of making a Karlsonator case.

I have no idea how to choose a case. Which type to take (0.53, 8, 12 or 15)? Size? How to calculate whether the units are suitable for Karlsonator and for which type.

Im asking for help.

its not really "that much" different than W8-1772 T-S wise so existing 1772 K-designs might be a starting point.

My simulations show this to be a rather large speaker 0.85x scale height and depth and 0.67x scale in width of the original 12in Karlsonator. Here is the predicted frequency response - nice sensitivity of 94dB and -6dB point at 49Hz.

Yes, they work like that and there will even be a little more bass.

Thank you, i am in between the SWR 200 maybe also with Alnico magnet or the 96 oval driver. Baserefelex or Onken, close to the wall
