The brand "Music Fax" I have never heard before, but the board of power amp so as the completly device looks both very impressive and well made.

Accuphase themselves are a fine source of reliable info. The china interpretations, for some reason, are seldom accurate or have much merit.

thank you for posting the schematic. At first glance I miss the cascode configuration in the VAS stage.
The actually question is, what impression occurs while a listening test against the genuine E405 amp device.

are to find PCB boards and is to find the same schematic - unfortunately no better resolution as the attached file in post #2

R6+R8 (actually for Iref of cascode transistors) are connected with the sources of the input jFET's.
This seems to be a misprint.
The question is, what is the aim of VR12 between the sources of the upper and lower jFET pair ?

The circuit diagram shown in post #2 and only available on the web refers to the version with the Toshiba output power devices 2SA1943 and 2SC5200.
While I unsuccessfully searching on the web for the circuit from the Accuphase E505 clone (which I have now create by using of a faulty power amp unit), I discovered that there are two other versions of the E405 clone: one with MJL4281+MJL4302 in the output stage and another with the MJ15024G+MJ15025G (traditional TO-3 outline). The differences to the schematic from post #2 I will find out and evaluate in the next time.
BTW the E505 clone is only available with the MJ15024G+MJ15025G - i. e. only one version.
In the attachment images of the E505 with MJ15024G+MJ15025G and E405 with MJL4281+MJL4302 and MJ15024G+MJ15025G.

E405-clone: Versions with 2SA1943/2SC5200 (ft 30 MHz) in the attachment.
Ft from MJ15024G+MJ15025G is only 4 MHz - thus actually must be various differences in the associated circuit diagrams - so I think.
