Anyone have a schematic or even a picture inside the chassis of one of the early K&F lap steel guitar amplifiers? Tubes should be: 5Y3, 6N7 and 6V6. Thanks in advance.

A schematic should be sufficient to build an amp, especially since the parts 70 years ago were so much different. Caps that were the size of my thumb are now the size of my pinkie fingernail. So the old layout wouldn't really apply.
Not sure what your point is? Yes, if I had a schematic for a K&F lap steel amp, I could build it. Likewise, if I had a picture of the inside of the chassis, I could likely reverse engineer it, too. Currently, I don't have either.🙂

I see a Utah speaker in those pictures. Anyone remember those. I worked as the repair tech in an Olson Electronics store in 1971 and 1972. All Olson branded guitar speakers were made by Utah and were great speakers for the price. Utah speakers seemed to vanish in the 80's but I believe that Pyle owns the brand.
Olson's non guitar raw drivers were made by whoever met their specs, which were usually cost driven. Many were indeed Utah as well.
The killer deals were two nearly identical 15 inch HiFi woofers made by Eminence from their guitar speaker line. One had an Alnico magnet and sold for about $15, and the other had a massive ferrite magnet and sold for around $35.
The ferrite monster was just the ticket for bass thumpers (the term subwoofer didn't exist yet) used by the mostly Hispanic pre-disco dance music crowd in the Miami area during the early 70's. My brother and I made quite a few speakers containing only one of these speakers. The typical amp of the early 70's did not have enough power to blow them up.....except for the Crown DC300.

I pulled the chassis of a burnt house. The only thing salvageable was the chassis/heatsink and the power transformer. I must have thrown it out in my last move.

This was stated to be a 1946 Fender and shows a lap axe. I don't have more background. Reverse Image Search may find the source.
