I know that AES sent me a potentiometer with a value of 100k with the K-502 kit. But I want to replace it. How do I know what power rating to select? I could go with an 8watt one but WOW they cost like 300+. But the amp is stereo 8watt. Is there an equation? My commercial amp supplies 200watts so I would guess that the pot in there is not some crazy expensive 200watt pot. So how do you know what value to select?
I dont know if this matters or not but I am not using a pre-amp at the time.
