When was that picture taken? I know Canada is cold, but are people still wearing jackets and hats in the middle of June?

A perpetual problem...
Theoretically, as entropy must always increase, it's impossible to tidy up. (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it...)
Entropy was discussed on another thread recently (the dynamic range of 16 bits).
Perhaps a moderator should join the threads....

heteroscedasticity
In general there seems to be a certain amount of delta-relevance and heteroscedasticity running through most of the treads. But doesnt that keep it more creative, if not more interesting?

Its kind of like points of data in a data set that fall well outside the standard and average deviations.
A data point so far outside the curve that it cant be accounted for by noise or quanitsation error (or even dithering).
Its a fun word I stole from my wife while she studied for her PhD. Even now that she’s hooded and teaching, its all statistical analysis.
Thats the best that her humble and mostly igneront husband can expain it.

Oh,
You mean the data that stats people ignore.
The trouble is that all those little dots are often people, who's wishes are ignored.
Probably most forum members would be those dots outside the range....
Cheers,

From one of the curve dot to another...
But that does keep it interesting!
I still can’t believe that Karma doesn’t have a huge set of speakers on his workbench.
