Just starting again in diy electronics

Hi there. My name's Keyvan, just recently finished college in EE, mainly doing hardware programming courses. I've gone from full-time school and work to only work, so I suddenly have loads of free time and, now that I'm not so busy, I'd like to get back into hobby electronics.

Many many years ago, when I could afford it 🙂, I bought and installed a Rockford Fosgate amp with an MTX sub in my car, on a whim, and then my bank account went downhill from there as I came to love audio and started getting things for my home and car systems. Some years later, after I'd finally stabilized my purchases, I discovered the possibility of DIY in audio and my account almost took another hit, but then I started uni and I had to take a break from hobbies for a few years.

Unlike some here, I haven't been tinkering with these things since I was 10 😀, but I'm starting to research and do little projects which include, so far, a small hv arc speaker (finally done! awesome little thing), learning HAM and getting involved in all that entails (a whole world I never knew existed, might take me awhile to sort it all out), modifying stock car stereo and GPS display to show dvd input 🙂, Wii remote tweaking for PC HID usage, and other random and sometimes semi-useful but always fun gadgets.
