Greetings,
I'm looking forward to sharing and learning @ this site.
My rig is as follows:
AR EB-101, full Merrill mods, Audioquest PT6 W/Expresssimo counterweight, Signet TK5E and Grado Sig 8MZ carts
Audible Illusions Mod 2D w/stiffened power supply - still working on more upgrades.
VSP Gold Edition 200 main amp
Adcom 5800 sub amp(need to ask Nelson Pass as to why this amp stresses out when driving my ML CLS2a's)
Dahlquist LP1 passive/active xover
Homemade stereo subs w/Eminence 12" woofers
ML CLS2A stats, also some vintage Maggie MG1 Improved and an upgraded pr of Dahlquist DQ10'S

MG1 improved
Hi Sy,
The MG1 imp has a lower xover pt @ 1200Hz I believe as opposed to the standard MG1 @ 2400Hz. The tweeter handles more of the critical midrange, brass and wind instruments as well as vocals sound quite good. It's weak point is the lack of extended high freq.
