Jula@ vs Audiophile-192 Soundcards

I'm one of the few who got the Buffalo 32S DAC boards. I now need to purchase a sound card with a suitable output and need some advice.

Firstly, I can't seem to find out where to purchase a Juli@ soundcard. I'm in New Zealand and checking the official Australian distributors website I can't see it listed. Where did others purchase this sound card from?

I'm aware that I can modify the Juli@ soundcard to provide I2S output to the Buffalo 32S DAC, as so it's my first preference, however if I can't get it, the M-Audio Audiophile 192 sound card looks fine, however I have one query regarding it.

Does the S/PDIF output on the Audiophile 192 support full 24/192? Other soundcard I've reviewed which specify full 24/192, when reading the spec's, state that the S/PDIF outout is only 24/96. Can anyone provide an authoratative answer?

You can also extract I2S quite easily from the M Audio card too. The VIA Envy PCI interface chip outputs as I2S to all the on board DACs. All you need to do is identify what goes where (by checking the on board DACs pin configuration against a data sheet) then solder suitable wires to carry the 4 signals.

I've done this to great success.

How about the clock recovery scheme? I understand both are having PLL implemented.

Are there any soundcards with different clock generation?

My RME9632 soundcard outputs 24/192 SPDIF nicely. Not yet finished moddind the Juli@ to compare with SPDIF.
