Hi,
I have finished the build of a JTM45 Metro Amp. Everything works well. Zero audible no signal noise.
The amp has a very bright voice. Perhaps that is normal for this design. I don't remember what a plexi sounded like.
I have the 500pf cap on the gain pot so I can reduce that value and remove the 500pf cap on the mixer resistors.
What other mods do you recommend to change the tone?
Thanks,
Billy

I expect you already know this, but if you have the usual two input jack sockets for the 'high treble' channel and two for the 'normal' channel, you can plug into the top socket of the high treble side and run a short jumper lead from the bottom socket of the high treble across to the top socket of the normal channel.
You can then mix the sound by adjusting the two volume controls, to blend in some 'mellow' to tame the brightness of the high-treble channel.

Hi Guys
Plexi voicing evolved to be very bright so that it would sound tight when clipped. The Bassman it began as sounds flatulent clipped.
Have fun
