Does anyone know where I could get this IC from? as this one is faulty.
What is the J086G number? is it relevant?
Also are these all the same? what does the letter indicate?
4580
4580M
4580D
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as it may get my expensive amplifier going again

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Thank you so much
I think I've worked out that the letter is the shape if the IC
So do you believe it is an M and not an E shape? as they look fairly similar on the datasheet or doesn't it matter? it just looks like it's the height that is different and the pins could be the same???

I agree now is the only way to have the componentsJust about any junked DVD player will have them....for free.
Dan.
Thanks guys so much!!
It's the only component that reacts to freezing spray.
If I put the hipass or lowpass filter on it has static crackling in the music but when I hit it direct with freeze spray the crackles go away, spraying other components have no effect. Also I did flux and re-solder it in case it was a dry joint but that didn't change anything.
This is what arrived today. The original chip has a dot to match up on the board to mark which way it goes so is it safe to match the line on the new chip with the mark on the board???
It says on the chip:
R4580I
29k
AS7DG4
Hope it works

Lets hope so. Keep us updated how it goes
Pin 1 is the bottom left one in your picture. If you've not worked with SMD before then this might help,
