I will try my JX92s in open baffles. Has anyone tried this before? Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks a lot,
Thanks a lot,
If you speak Spanish maybe you understand a bit of Italian.
Have a look here http://www.audiocostruzioni.com/diffusori-diy/diatone/diatone.htm
The baffle is for Diatone 610MB or Jordan JX92S.
Here is a baffle for the Altec 755, but I think it will suit also the JX92S http://members.myactv.net/~je2a3/open.htm

Try them, any baffle with a hole is ok for the beginning. I do that at the moment, but since I released the driver from the bass load below 160Hz, the soundstage and sound itself is ways better. I do active XO and have a big 12" woofer on each side for nice deep bass. You won't get bass with reasonable SPL with the Jordans anyway.
