Why spend time and energy on learning a foreign language with translator software around.
.
I have you to translate 😛
As a Brit its easy to give up on euro languages as you are instantly spotted. I've asked for directions in Germany (in German) and got an answer in English too many times.
Morality is an unlearned skill in many. Smart buy not wise.My wife and I once met a Mensa member, who within a few minutes was talking about how he was only a month out of jail for.... attacking a patrolman.... with a hammer. Practical intelligence was not very impressive in his case.

No mater how many times an untruth is told still does not make it true but only believed by some . 😎The only thing an IQ test shows is how good you are in doing an IQ test 🙂

Moral or not, that's about as stupid a thing as someone could do.
There's the old Groucho Marx joke about "I Don’t Want to Belong to Any Club That Will Accept Me as a Member"...
Bad impulse control and failure to run the whole simulation first so to speak. I can not disagree with your conclusion. Also liked the article you wrote on room treatment . They do work in your room well.😎Moral or not, that's about as stupid a thing as someone could do.
Sometimes, I just want someone to hug me and say, "I know things are hard right now but everything is going to be okay

I have just wandered in classes at several universities nobody checks identity. Even spent time at Cal Poly helping in the lab after wandering in with a friend who was a student. The professors are quite helpful with specific questions especially UC schools as part of their charter is to help industry. Of course I had less grey hair then and maybe looked more like a student.

What did the patrolman do?? He must have done something terribly stupid 😀

I had a few former-military types that were definitely in their 40's that I taught. Dunno if you qualify age-wise, but I wouldn't really bat an eye.

Patrol Mrs Mensa ? They say geek partners are hard to come by.
(what are the odds Mr Mensa wasn't telling the truth, deliberately)

Don't know. We kind of moved away toward the other end of the table and tried to converse with someone else right after that came up. Didn't stay long.
