Is it important whether it is 0805 or 0603 ?
No, with std pads we can fit 0805 in lieu of 0603, Just a little bit more difficult
People sent me PMs asking for BoM.
Since the two most critical passives are know, we'll publish the rest so that you can also organise GBs if you wish :

I wonder if it would be possible to get those parts from mouser? I could probably do a parts kit when I'm doing the inductors anyway?
I'll have to buy my own anyway...
Whenever you close this GB, I'll leave the inductor GB open a week longer to catch any stragglers.

I've been quite long do not check DIYAudio forum..., is there still the group buy run for your ES9022 DAC? Also, would it be good if I bypass the SPDI/F receiver and feed in I2S directly from async USB-I2S converter, or do you still recommend to use the 8804 receiver first?

I recommend you use I2S direct. Don't use spdif if you can avoid it.

Approximate parts cost for the BOM above for 1 board (incl inductors) works out ~€6 or so. So I still need to check to see if that is incl or excl VAT (sales tax) and customs etc etc. But suffice to say the parts for 1 stereo board ain't gonna cost that much. I also need to estimate postage costs from me back out to the various countries with/without tracking. Based on past experience I'd image we are looking at ~€12-13 for the full kit for one stereo board minus tracking which usually adds €3-4.
PCBs are already ordered. FETs yet to be.

And another Q: I did look, but couldn't find the info - what is the current demand for the filter and what would you suggest for a PSU for it? Batteries or shunt, or is the PS not so critical?
> Question, is this buffer compatible and useful for the JP/Subbu ES9023+WM8804 DAC
Jean Paul was the third on top of the subscribers list ??
You should ask him.
> what is the current demand for the filter and what would you suggest for a PSU for it?
About +/-9V, 24~32mA, depending on the Idss of the JFETs, for stereo.
> Batteries or shunt, or is the PS not so critical?
If you ask me, of course batteries. 🙂

Hi Patrick,
I thought Joachim's schematic had +/- 15V?
Regards
The voltage is not so important, since you only swing 2.8V (line level).
So 9V min, 15V max. Max is limited by cascode JFET dissipation.
Anything in between is fine.
