So as to not thread-jack the F5, here's the JFET tester I've been working on. It uses the Measurement Computing PMD1208LS USB data acquisition thingy:
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
so program takes USB data input of signals
and processes according to some configuration settings
Will you use this only for personal use?
.... or will you publish hardware description/software download
as a project for others to builld?

I was looking at these months ago and i asked if one of these could be used for FET matching and everyone pretty much told me no. So i am definitely interested in know how and what and full details of your setup please!
The same idea can be applied to MOSFET's -- I did it with tubes -- just somewhat different stuff to look.
The code is VB.NET, but the DAC/ADC's are from MCC and so are the softwire modules which drive the PMD1208LS.
