Found this whilst looking at an early TV www & got a link to below. I thought it might be nice to post for nostalga etc purposes, & there's a surprising amount of useful info for the time in the PDF.
Remember, by 1956 the Rock n Roll & Pop era had already begun, & 45 RPM singles & 33 1/3 RPM albums had been available for a number of years by this time. This helped the "HiFi" industry to explode ! It's amazing how good some of those tunes still sound today. So having a decent/ish system back then to play those tunes, must have been really something !
