Are you asking whether anyone recommends "Jean Hiraga" or "Tubelab SSE for KT88 SET"?

To drive which speakers?
Which version of Jean Hiraga?
What do you prefer, solid state amp or tube amp? In terms of building and sound?

I have built quite a number of SE amps, including KT88 SE's. I honestly think OPT and tubes make biggest difference in sounds, the next is biasing and proper driving of output tube. BOTH SRPP and CCS must be able to drive KT88 when properly biased, so I would guess there wouldn't be much difference in sound when OPT and tubes are the same.

But since I don't know your definition of "sound", I would just recommend Tubelab SSE for it's easiness in build and support by the Tubelab in this forum.
