last Thursday I've been given a pair of JBL TLX 70 speakers for free. The cabinets still are in excellent condition, but both the woofers' and squawkers' surrounds are heavily degenerated.
'Till today I've successfully refoamed two pairs of woofers of different origin, so I'd dare to do it on these JBL's again. But are they worth it? Are they considered to be of any (sonical) value? And, last but not least, where from could I source surrounds that won't affect the original properties too much?
