105 F?105°F, The longer it is on - the temp continues to rise. However, I checked the amperage-draw at the power cord, very, very, low.
That's ALL?
That's nothing, why worry about it?
As long as the AC line is fused.
I've got a 1963 console stereo (18 tubes) that has a power transformer that COOKS after being on a while.
You can't even put a hand on it, you'd be singed! (likely over 140 degrees)
It's lasted all these DECADES and still going strong.
I know that may have been confusing but one day it got so hot one day I couldn't hold it and the bass had faded away by then.
Ok the mini-fan ploy is keeping it cool, I can limp along with for a while, maybe I'll find a parts doner PB10.
I did try 3 different power amps, none had the same characteristics as the original.
Thanks for all the help!

Plain garbage made to last 'only' shortly past their warranty period. - AKA built-in short lifespan.
I've told my customers: Well, welcome to the 'new age' of products, the (greedy) manufacturers don't care about you, they've already gotten your money. - go buy another one to keep them in business.
