Without knowing the FR and ZR curves of your driver is a just a guess.
Buy a set of series resistors (1.5, 2.2, 2.7R), a set of parallel resistors (22, 27, 33R) and a couple of caps (1, 2.2uF) you can add in parallel to the 6.8 cap.
Try the different combinations and listen. I would start with the voltage divider and then add the cap in parallel. Make one change at a time.
The original filter is in red. You pad down the tw level by a couple of dB.
