JBL GTO 24001 high idle current

Got this amp for repair. Amp looks fine. All signals are in place, but it pulls more than 5 Amps. One side of the bank, slightly heating up, and the transformer for that side makes hissing noise. Changed some Capacitors on the audio drive board, because they were dead. Any suggestions?

I have tried now with a bigger power supply, than it works with 3.9Amps... Very strange. Maybe my power supply isnt strong enough.

Did you try going back to the other supply to confirm that nothing has changed?

No, I tested with the big supply, with 2 ohm resistor at the output.. Everything looks fine. The customer complained, that the amp stopped working and made pulsating noises. Can't reproduce that. Anyway found dead caps at the audio drive board.
