Hello everyone, My names Rich Pabst and i just joined your forum. I would like some info on replacing the tweets on a pair or JBL CF-150 speakers. I was looking at the Morel CAT 308 soft domes and also the Audax TWO34XO tweets. I'm looking for your input as which if either of these tweets you folks think would be best or if you think something else would be better. The specs of these speakers are as follows. Please let me know what you folks think. Thank you all very much.
Rich Pabst.

CF150
3-Way Floorstanding
High Frequency Dome Transducer - 25 mm Mylar Laminate
Mid Frequency (Polymer Laminate) - 6-1/2"
Low Frequency (Polymer Laminate)- 15"
Crossover Frequencies - 850Hz/4.5kHz
Frequency Response (– 6dB) - 32Hz to 20kHz
Sensitivity (1 watt/1 meter)- 98dB
Nominal Impedance - 8 Ohms
Recommended Amplifier Power*- 10 to 325 watts
External Dimensions (H x W x D)- 35 x 17-7/8 x 18-15/16"
Weight (each) - 62 lbs (28.1 kg)

Double check the efficiency of the speaker. If it is as specified, then that tweeter is going to be far too insensitive. However, 98 dB is pretty high, and manufacturers often over-rate them.

You want a tweeter of equal, or slightly higher sensitivity to what you have.
