I decided I needed a killer pair of JBL's but there is no way I could afford an original pair but I do have the capabilities to build the cabs, hence my 4345 project. I rounded up the components , no mean chore in itself and proceded onward. I'm just waiting on networks before loading the components.

These look awesome, what is the driver complement and where did you find the plans? I have a few jbl drivers stashed away. Cheers Greg
let see......2245, 2405, 2122 or 23 and 2426J. You can get plans online. You will have to make or have made the nertwork unless you are as lucky as a lottery winner and find a pair.
Thanks, look forward to hearing how they sound. i have a pair of 2245 all genuine and 2123 in some cabinets but they could be donors for testing purposes. my only concern is the 2425 as this has limited uhf, only good to 16k. do you need to add an uhf driver?

The charge coupled crossovers are nice, but cost a lot.
Don't use Solens for the mid horn and HF driver, film and foil caps are great - Multicap.
I have 4 sets of 2 x 2245 (18 inch), 2202 (12 inch), 2441/ 2395 meter wide lens, 2405 UHF In our metal fabrication shop for a pa system - sort of 4 of 4350 on steroids. Wish we could horn load the bass like Richard Long's Bertha, but then we'd have no place to work.
Your cabinets are great.
