Hello,
In my attempts to restore a JBL 4311B i remove all drivers. There was some kind of thin flat gasket under the tweeter and midrange where they attach to the baffle (LE-25 & LE5-10).
It had double sided tape on the speaker side and mat side on the baffle/cabin side
Does anybody know where i can get new ones ?
Thanks
Pics of the LE5-10 gasket ,there is a similar one for the LE-25

Get some black construction paper, trace them and make new ones. Those are going to be really hard to find. That gasket used to be available from JBL but I doubt it now.

Thanks for the reply's. I was wondering what this material is made off to make new ones perhaps.I was thinking of neoprene about 1mm (or is it too thick or EVA rubber sheet) same stuff they use for speaker gasket tapes today.
Phivates you say this is gasket material they in Engine gaskets ?

Right. Sold by the foot (here). I used it on an intake manifold. I'll pull my 4311b mid and compare.
Edit: JBLs are buried in storage.
