Jamo Converta II gone dead

I have a speaker from a stereo that is dead. It's probably 20 or 30 years old. The other speaker works fine. I put a VOM on the lead and get no continuity reading. I put it on the working speaker and I get a reading of continuity. Should I be looking at connections at the speaker or testing crossover caps etc.?

Its likely burned...you need to open it and test right on the woofer
