Just a quick question,
Where is the best place to buy James O/P Tx's from?
I looked for other threads and some contact had been lost with James!

That's the site (email) that I used, got a direct quote from them. Price was very reasonable, shipping was a bit of a killer to USA.
Yes, that's the one. I ordered 10 transformers for Red Light District amps, and the cost with shipping and duty came out at just under $90 each.
Thanks. Forgot the RLD were P-P. Agreed, James OPT look good and sound good too. Perhaps not in the region of Tango or Tamura or Bartolucci, but hey, they sound good enough to me. 🙂
The quote for their SE transformers was way higher. I guess SE transformers have always been more expensive.

I'd put them up against Tango. They wasted some classic UTC iron, not to mention the Dynaco stuff. No experience with Tamura or Bartolucci.
I think they may be cheaper from THL Audio. I bought mine (6157HSF) from them for less than the U.S. distributor was paying for them at the time.
