IXTH12N100L MOSFET or alternative needed

Hi,

I have blown an IXTH12N100L linear MOSFET (1000V 12A 1.3Ohm 400 Watt TO247AD) today. It's used in a regulated linear high voltage power supply.

I cannot find them on stock with my usual suppliers and I'm unable to find a suitable alternative.

Any help finding this mosfet or an alternative is very much appreciated.

Well, you could always add some more parts to your order to "economize" on the shipping - it's a flat rate no matter how much stuff you order...

If you have and post shematic voltage power supply may be usefull to find a similar component, like this

I have a few few of these removed from a early 1980's video projector where we were using them
for the horizontal sweep at 80KHz (3 in parrallel ). If you posted a schematic we could probably
find a more sutaible replacement for this 40 year old Mosfet.
