IVY-III powered from batteries

Is it possible to use battery power for IVY-III instead of transformer + placid HD PSU?

I have bunch of A123 Lithium Phosphate cells. They have extremely low internal AC impendance, almost no voltage sag under load and very flat discharge voltage curve. Either rail of two symmetrical battery banks provides stiff as a construction steel +/-13,2V without any noise and with +/-5mV tolerance.

Yes, it would work and should be very good. Make sure you have fuses right behind the batteries because there is fire hazard if they get short circuited. You can weld with these things.
