Given that existing members must be depleting (transistor heathens), and the valve fraternity must be outgassing, the forum needs new members. So why don't people reply to nervous newbies?
Moderators: Might it be an idea that when a newbie posts and they haven't recieved a response within one week, their appropriate national flag could appear at the top of all threads, so that one could quickly click on it to contact them?

I always try to reply to new members when I see them, but at the moment due to short handedness amongst the mods and pressures of work, things haven't quite worked as planned.
I think Audiofreak has enough on his plate at the moment, so your flag idea is probably not possible, but it would certainly be nice to see more members in the Intro forum - yes folks, this means you!😉
