Hi,

in my CD304mkII I have noticed a 7808 regulator, from it's output a 2,2k resistor goes to an electrolytic cap ( which on the other leg is grounded ) and from there another resistor 2,7k goes to the output of the TDA1541. Same for other channel.

IMHO this brings the TDA output close to 0V, and eases the job of the I/V stage.

Also I still got the feeling it sounds a little better than my CD880.

Is it really better ?
