If your receiver is in slave mode, things are different for sure.
Perhaps in receiver slave mode the latch enable signal ( divided DAC master clock ) can be directly fed to the DAC chips without timing problems.
I just don't know if the data alignment fits my DAC chips in CS8412/14 slave mode. I need 16bit lsb justified...
