Hi, I recently got my hands on a fantastically modded Arcam Delta Box. The DAC is fully recapped with a new Input board, NOS mode and a tube output stage.
It looks like the box got damaged during transport. The power button looks permanently stuck so the box is immediately on when connected to electricity. In addition, when connecting the output to the amp, a slight noise can be heard through the speakers. The DAC cannot play music and when connecting any source no music is played.
Any advice on the possible problem is appreciated. If anyone passing here is from Belgium, I am happy to get also in contact for guidance and recommendations for a person able to help in troubleshooting this.

Well... I think you need to find someone local or that you can ship it to who understands audio electronics like the dac you have. Either that or start learning yourself, and get some test equipment. I guess a third option might be to sell it as-is.
Thanks - I already understood this is the answer. I have contacted some audio repair shops but none of them seem to even grasp the issue. Was hoping a local DIYer from my geography would see the post and ping me with advice/useful addresses.
