isobaric 2 full range drivers

for future projects i was wondering if isobaric is possible with 2 full range drivers.

1is this possible to reduce the back cabinet volume in half this way or will somthing go wrong

2 how much distance do i need to keep between the magnet and cone of the 2 drivers

Doable but do note that at a frequency related to the distance between the front & back drivers will cause ripple above a certain point and significantly degrade te FR response.

Isobarik is best reserved for speakers only reproducing some ocatve or so below that critical inflection point.

Out of curiosity how will I perceive this ripple

1 like disortion
2 certain frequanties will be to louder or not loud enough.
3 noise like rattling
4 some other way

and does anyone have experience with this sow lets say if i use 2 markaudio alpair 10 isobaric bass reflex this would not be a good idee?

Can you explain this a bit more? Is it different to ripple caused by reflections within the cabinet and could it be damped by wadding between the drivers?

The ripple will appear in the frequency response. As the waveform's frequencies go up the reflections from the surface behind and the direct radiation from the back driver, move in & out of phase cancelling or reinforcing the radiation from the front driver.

I learned this from measurements someone posted a long while ago.
