I've got a custom build project on my to do list, which involves an output stage with quad 6L6-GC output tubes.
I want the amplifier to have a full power bandwidth of 7Hz-50KHz, like the old UTC True Fidelity output transformers could provide.
Primary: 3300 ohms
40% screen taps
Sec: 4/8/16 ohms
Power handling: 100W
Budget: <$1,000 each
All of the generic transformers made today seem to be limited to 30-15,000 cps and suffer notch distortion at the low end and slew rate limiting with signals above 4Kc.
I know there are maybe one or two companies (perhaps in Japan?) that know how to make quality transformers on the level of the old UTC parts, but I don't know the names or where to contact them.
Prefer potted to match the existing power transformers.
Any leads on a high end manufacturer that can make us custom transformers within the modest budget outlined, would be appreciated.

I'm looking for audiophile grade output transformers. Heyboer isn't known for ultra-high grade audio. I could ask them to custom quote me with my specs though, can't hurt.
Zrobili mi zasilacz do przedwzmacniacza lampowego na zamówienie. Nic specjalnego, ale różni się od tego, co jest w sprzedaży.

On the other hand, I have this transformer from the power supply of the amplifier and phono preamplifier, super quality. They also make for tube amplifiers.
In Poland we have a really large selection of high quality transformers.👍

Looks good. I have done business with Toroidy before. (couple years ago, power transformer for a Counterpoint SA1) and they did top notch work.
I am under the impression that they only make power transformers.
The other site looks interesting. Top rating is 80 watts, but the specs and dimensions look like they'd be a good fit. Possibly better quality and less expensive than Edcore.

I think they will make a 100W speaker transformer, because for power supplies they have transformers of higher power in their offer.
For some reason I'd forgotten about these guys. https://www.thermioniclab.com/en/products/push-pull-output-transformers.htmlI'm looking for audiophile grade output transformers.
Apparently they will do custom. Certainly doesn't hurt to ask.
