Hi,
I've just buyed a Nothstar 192 DAC, where you can recive is2 signal directly in 24/192
I'm planing to build my one transport based on the CD-pro 2 and I'm wondering if is2 upsampling is not to complexe to implement.
I'm planning to use a CS 8240 for upsampling to 24/96 and then a NPC SM5849AF for the upsampling to 24/192.
So if I'm right i just need a power supply to each component and that's it? Or do I need something more than that?
Thanks for you comments and suggestions. After reading some thread on the CS 8420 I'm wondering is there is another component I could use instead.

You wouldn't believe how much I hate the CS8420.
Here's what I suggest instead...
Cheap side of things: SRC4190, AD1895
Expensive side: SRC4192, AD1896.
All four of these parts can convert to 192KHz directly.
