Is this the diode I need?

I'm looking for a Silicon rectifier diode and the parts list shows it to be
Silicon Rectifier 400PIV 1.5A

Is this the one I need?....from Mouser 1N5395

To be sure use the most common 1N5408 1KV 3A diode.

Osvaldo, thank you for your response. I may have fitment issues with the larger one you are suggesting. Is the one that I linked ok?

3 amp diodes have much bigger leads. It may work, but in a PCB mount application, may not fit.

1.5A diodes just aren’t as high a volume product, so pricing could be higher. Thats probably a don’t care.

Thank you wg_ski. So the one I referenced from Mouser has the electrical specifications that should meet the one I need, that shows in the parts list for my unit?

If it is a genuine manufacturer and your reuqirement is for 400PIV and 1,5A, then yes, the 1N5395 meets that in the search I just did, which turned up a Vishayu spec.
