got a commercial projector with no bulb off ebay (plan to make my own light engine for it..wish me luck i need it!!) ...and it came with the lens cracked...friken canada post...there was a fragile sticker on the box...but it says ceramics and glass not covered if damaged...bastards..anyway..it looks like its like just an outer protecting glass, but the glass has a green tint to it when you look get a reflection of light on it....but the lens seems to be ok under it (see pic 2) so my question is if i just removed whats broken will i still get the same image quality asuming the lens under it is ok???
