The room where I'm going to use my projector allow me a throw distance of 2.4 meters and I want a image diagonal size of 60". In diyprojectorcompany.com they have published the following formula:
(Throw Distance - FL)*(LCD Diag. Size)
Projection diag. size = ------------------------------------------------
FL
So according with this formula (all values in inches):
Throw distance = 94.488188976
My Triplet is 330 mm FL =12.992125971
My PS1 LCD screen = 5
My projected image will be the half that I want (31 inches)
and I only reach the 60" with a focal length of 180 mm (7.086614166 inches).
So if This formula is true I must find a Triplet that is 180 mm FL and I guess that the front fresnel must be 220 mm FL.
Can anybody answer if this is true?
Thanks a lot !!
