yes it will ...only think you need to do is to take care of the classical construction notes ...this is a very old circuit and since its a bootstrsap quasi without vilimiter its expected to play but not perfom stable under peaks or heavy loads especially 4ohms

VI limiters will perform beter in a classic complementary amplifier if a re getting in to the story of adding things in to the circuit then you may as well pick another more modern circuit
depents a lot also on the application ...if you built an amplifier like that for home use you might get away with it if you expect more then choose another circuit

The design is from the 1970's. I designed and built many similar amplifiers in the 70's.
As sakis said, this design will work okay into an 8 ohm load and at moderate audio levels. Don't push the amplifier too hard.
A newer design would be a better choice.
