Hello. Is this amp AIYIMA TPA3255 Power Amplifier 300Wx2 Class D Stereo Digital Audio Amp HiFi 2.0 Sound Amplifier Speaker Home Theater DIY|Amplifier| - AliExpress good enough for magnat supreme 202? I have heard good things about AIYIMA but i wonder if it can handle 200RMS without distortion.
Without a doubt, the Three hundred watts power is a "cooked" figure, the fudging of power has reared its ugly head again as of late. This 300 is likely for both channels, so 300/2 = 150 per channel...but wait!!! This is going to be for a two-ohm load, so 75 for a four ohm...for the common eight ohm, just 37.5 watts per channel.
And good luck if you expect it to last any more than a couple of years of use....these things are notorious for failing very very quickly. Conversely, we have lots of vintage 45 year old amps out there aside from replacing dried out caps every dozen years, that are still going strong...

Maybe 75W / channel. For 8 ohm need a 48V 5A supply min, for 4 ohm 32V 5A min. If you want maximum power, then higher current supply may be needed (8A?). For max power, 51V supply with plenty of current. TI data sheet says about 100W/ channel is possible with low distortion (51V supply). See TPA3255 data sheet.
The Aiyima 07 has a good review. How much power do you really need? Those speakers are moderately efficient (91dB).

It is cheap. I am using the Aiyima 04 for my computer desktop speakers. Works fine, but I am only using for my computer.
Cheap doesnt necessarily mean bad. This is comparable to much more expensive amps. I will buy this. I dont think speakers in this range would suffer from performance loss as TPA3255 is pretty good and the other components are of good quality as well.

I ordered one yesterday to drive a set of C-Note speakers I recently built. For $79 it will be perfect in my workshop. If it last two or three years I'll be satisfied. Electronics out there rarely last much longer.
