Hi - newbie post - calling all tubers !
Is this a spud amp :
http://www.sonicgear.com.sg/pdetail.php?category=i-STEROID&idnya=10
(The address is correct, but apologies if the link doesn't work - its the first one I've done)
More questions :
How does it apparently get stereo out of what looks like a single tube(r) ?
Is it a hybrid solid state/valve amp ?
Does anyone know what's 'in the box' ?
Is this the tube equivalent of the T-amp ?
Has any tuber tweaked it ?

The 6n2 is a dual triode - two sections in the same glass envelope. They claim 6wpc for the gear, but it isn't coming from that tube. Looks like a gimic to me.

Looks like junk. Some sort of nasty rip-off of the Goldster Concertino (about which I have no knowledge, so it might also be junk).
Just my opinion, but the piano white combined with that 'retro' dial makes this look more like a popcorn machine

It is no doubt a hybrid amp, using the 6N2 as an input stage and probably a chip amp as the output.
Search for "hybrid" on the chipamps forum and you'll find some examples.

I was thinkin juicer

Typical example of the use of tubes for appearance only; they're certainly biased at a MUCH too low voltage and current = non-linear operation but cheap to implement.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
I've always thought with that one, Ingmar from Ikea should be standing behind it saying something funny 😀
