...Who knows about Genesis V/500/501 speakers?
Particularly the mid-bass "couplers".
I need to replace these drivers on my Gen V's. These are alu-coned, 61/2", 4 ohm, possibly (but not necessarily) manufactured by Infinity, possibly (but not necessarily) crossed over b/ween 80-90 Hz and 400-500 Hz...😕
This is all the info I've gleamed, here & there. Cross-overs (two passive per side+one active) are full of oem components so, no notation on these...
The official routes have yielded no info ("sorry, schematics are no longer available") -- worse still, these 4 ohm drivers are no longer available ("sorry, no longer in stock") 😡
I was ready to risk buying the 4 ohm Vifa PL18 -- but thought the cognoscenti here may have other ideas...😉
Anyone have schematics, knowledge, experience on these speakers???
