Is there an AVR...

Is there an affordable AVR where I can select /modify the target equalization response, I very much like my Anthem, but it insists on a mid-bass hump as the target. I can fix it's insistence on the sub being too high by just turning it down after eq, but it does not let me fix this stupid decision for "wow that bass" crap. Double bad with the advertisements who boost on top of that. Very unpleasant. Audessy does not eq flat either, and actually I don't care for it at all.
No, I don't want to by five more amps and add my own DSP between. Simplify. I just don't want someone else deciding how to screw up my sound.

I'm not sure what you mean by target equalisation as I assume it's a setting or profile before the measurements are done.

I have a Yamaha AVR that after the measurements are done and saved you can alter the equalisation, levels, distances, speaker size etc settings manually. It's all done in the AVR and presented on screen. Wouldn't the Anthem allow manual adjustments after measurement but I do not know the product so have no idea?

Very odd. Could be from another setting in the amp. There should be an option of passing "through" the channel without equalisation etc.

The only thing I can think off is the measuring is picking out a suckout around 150Hz. This relates to a speaker woofer roughly 700mm out from the wall or floor.
