Hi experts,
is there a website which tells me all the transistor equivalent? or just new Transistor for old transistor?.
I need a more powerful transistor to replace old 2n3055.
Anyone?
Thanks

Hi Alexk,
I'm not an expert, but I use 2N3773 as a replacement for the 2N3055, but it depends on what you mean by more power.
The 2N3373 has higher voltage rating and the 2N3771 has a higher current rating than the 2N3005. So a few more details may be helpful.

Hi,
Go for a MJ15003 they are a very good transistor rated at 20 A 140 V 250 W.Or if you need a higher current NPN use a BUV20 they are rated at 50 A 125 V 250W.
Hope that helps
