I am wondering about that too, last time reported maybe 3-4 days ago the ongoing thread jacking by a certain member in Bob Cordell's thread, one of the moderators have created a new thread where that particular member could keep his controversial posting, but nothing has been done about it.
I have reported a few threads during the past year where I think most of them got no attention at all, it's rather discouraging being part of and improving this forum, so I hope we can get informed what is going on and what is actually the policy on reporting misplaced posts and threads, and other issues.

We usually do not reply to reports. If we feel the report merits action, we take action. If not, we don't.
On the old forum software there was no easy way to notify you about what was done. This new software has that option, and we are getting used to using it. Expect to see more replies in the future.
About 80% of the time, reports of misplaced posts are acted on. Not all need moving.
