I've recently aquired an old Technics SU-Z55, but the final stage has been changed with an 2n3055 based ampli though the original PCB has been maintained in the case obviously without the questioned IC.I whant to restore it but i don't know wich STK is it.On a polish forum a found mentioned to Technics SU-Z55 the STK2038B but i'm not sure. Can someone give me a hint,or a STK2038B datasheet?
AX816,
Yes, it is the STK 2038B. For sure, since I opened my SU-Z55.
By the way. My amplifier is only giving hard noise. I starter yet to find defected components. Do you know how I can obtain a schematic of the SU-Z55?
Thanks,
Emanuel

Yes you can use this IC
Compnies some time use B or ll for some resions(wich they know)
but the specs are same go for it.

It does indeed use the STK2038 however these modules are long obsolete, and also unreliable. Here is a rather bad schematic copy I found online.
The one I got from Freecycle was also dead. I decided it was not worth repairing and gutted it for parts.
Emanuel, either the STK2038, the AN7062, or both will be dead. The SU-Z55 is not a good design at all.
