here's something that cheez's me off and i guess it stems from my years in live sound, being around the very "sounds" that engineer's in studio's do there level best to capture and make acceptable for play back i'm often amazed at the arrogance of some audiophiles in their complaints of "poor recordings" and "bad mastering's" that offend their sensibilities when they would fail utterly if put in the position of those they where complaining about...
You've led a sheltered life! 😉ok i draw the line at soft core porn being on any level with a scotch infused discussion about audio ....
That's not 'soft porn', it's 'chick lit'!
too much scotch and dyslexia turned that into something i hear lezzie's like...(and if that was politically incorrect sorry!)
Come on fellas, it's a romance literature just like audiophile literature. You've led a sheltered life! 😉

Did you scroll down the page to "Lists with This Book"? The cover page at the right end (by Maya Banks) may be relatable to those in northern British Isles.

She can't seem to quite make up her mind with titles like 'In Bed With a Highlander' and 'Never Seduce a Scot'! 😀
Here is a comparison.

Overall the Oracle produces a very lush sound, worlds apart from the dynamic, pure sound of the reference Valhalla. Music sounds more beautiful with these cables in the system, especially piano and percussion. It also sounds romantic, smooth, warm and refined. The image fills the space between and behind the speakers. The Oracle is particularly effective with classical chamber music.
One is from enjoythemusic cable review and the other is from 'Never Seduce a Scot' description. As I have stated, subjective evaluations of audio sure can be expressed. After all, it's all about the emotion.Eveline Armstrong is fiercely loved and protected by her powerful clan, but outsiders consider her “touched.” Beautiful, fey, with a level, intent gaze, she doesn’t speak.

Graeme is a rugged warrior with a voice so deep and powerful that his new bride can hear it, and hands and kisses so tender and skilled that he stirs her deepest passions.

The latter is expressed in the language of 'lurve', not in the language of mathematics to which I referred.
Unless the protagonists are 'counting' on each other to get involved in 'multiplication'! 😀

Humans sang songs around camp fires and in reverberant spaces for 300,000 years. Dua Lipa is relatively recent in human experience so she sounds natural to us when created by electronics.
I can think of a few, heart rate, pupil size, blood pressure. It sounds like VK test in Bladerunner. The latter is expressed in the language of 'lurve', not in the language of mathematics to which I referred.

That too.Unless the protagonists are 'counting' on each other to get involved in 'multiplication'! 😀
Interest of individuals vary depending on the individual.
However, aren't romance literature and scotch infused audio discussion identical twins, in spirit?

For many audio equipment consumers, their perception or realization of good sound evolves. This is reason their equipment is upgraded periodically.
