I have some PMI OP05 operational amplifiers left.
I wonder whether it is a good choice for audio circuits or not, more precisely for phono preamplifiers.

With an equivalent input noise of 10nV/rt(Hz) and a unity gain bandwidth of 1MHz only I'd say no, it's not a good choice. You'd be better off with an NE5534A, which is not that expensive...
