is my tda1543a dead or fake?

i just got a tda1543a, and tried to connect it on 5v supply.
I measured the output and the reference pins and i got no voltage at all. do you think its fake or just a dead chip?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Yes.

I think it is, unless you have error in the circuit.

BTW:TDA1543A can not accept I2S signal.
