i have one of the old handmade xtant 1001d's in my car, and the other day something in my trunk knocked into the power wire and jolted it out of place (a cover has now been installed to prevent my stupidity from letting that happen again...)
here's the thing, the inline fuse near the battery was blown, so i replaced it, hoping the amp would now power up again.. no luck (yes, i resecured the power line on the amp). both of the fuses on the amp are not blown.
any idea what could be wrong with the amp? did i kill it? :'(

is that a cheap / easy thing to replace? i have some experience saughtering stuff, but mainly just to the speakers in a car, not on actual circuit boards...
well, i double checked everything and it turns out my new inline fuse is blown.. so i tossed in the 2nd one that came in the pack i bought and as soon as i turned on my car, that one blew..
Is that a sign of improper ground? That is the only thing i can think i might need to repair that i already haven't =\
