Hi everyone, I am finishing out my second generation mobile DJ setup. It's powered by 12v SLA batteries, and intended to be used for outdoor events. As the title suggests i would like to run my car preamp off of a separate 12v SLA battery from my car amplifier. I have already tried and I got pretty substantial background noise (I am assuming this is because the preamp and amp are not grounded to the same point). Is there anything I can do to correct this background noise. I have no noise when the pre amp and amp are run off of the same SLA battery, but at some point I may wish to double my current configuration which will require an additional amp that will need it's own power source.
